Before using a folding electric bicycle, inspect all connection points-especially the folding joints, locking mechanisms, handlebars, and seat-to ensure they are secure. Confirm that the vehicle is fully unfolded and locked before riding, and check the tire pressure, brakes, lights, and battery level. Do not ride the bike if the folding mechanism is not fully locked, as this could lead to the vehicle coming loose during operation.
Adjust your speed according to road conditions while riding, and avoid sudden acceleration, hard braking, or sharp turns. Slow down in advance and maintain stability when traversing potholes, speed bumps, or slippery surfaces. Since the wheels of folding electric bicycles are typically smaller than those of standard bicycles, they may be more sensitive to road conditions; therefore, remain vigilant and watch the road ahead. Always wear a suitable safety helmet and observe local traffic regulations while riding.
Regarding the battery, charge it according to the instructions in the manual and use only the compatible charger; do not attempt to replace or modify the battery or charging equipment yourself. Charge the battery in a well-ventilated, dry environment, avoiding areas with high temperatures, excessive humidity, or flammable materials. If you notice abnormal heating, swelling, unusual odors, or other irregularities, stop using the battery immediately and have it inspected and serviced by a professional.
When folding or storing the vehicle, turn off the power first and follow the correct operational sequence to avoid pinching your fingers or damaging the wiring. Ensure the vehicle is stable after folding, and pay attention to weight and the center of gravity when carrying it. Regularly inspect components such as the brakes, tires, folding locking mechanisms, and electrical wiring; prompt repair of any issues will enhance the vehicle's safety and extend its service life.
